If you’ve ever wished cutting logs could be as simple as using a calculator — that’s exactly what the SW-350-PRO Computer Setworks does.
It takes the guesswork out of sawing and makes the entire process faster, easier, and much more precise. The system automatically calculates the kerf thickness and positions the sawing head exactly where it needs to be for every cut — helping you get the maximum yield from every single log.
Unlike a basic digital readout (DRO) that only shows position, the SW-350-PRO actually thinks for you. It remembers your cuts, adds the kerf automatically, and moves the sawhead to the right height every time. The result?
Perfectly consistent boards, smooth operation, and far less waste — all with a few button presses.
And the best part?
Anyone can use Mikron Computer Setworks. Whether you’ve been sawing for years or are just getting started, it’s designed to be intuitive, reliable, and easy to operate. No complex menus or confusing setup — just clear, simple controls that work exactly the way you expect.
In today’s world, where profit margins get tighter, having a tool that optimizes the work of your existing sawmill is more important than ever. The SW-350-PRO helps you cut smarter, save wood, and make every log count.
1. Cutting Before Rotating the Log (Board-by-Board Mode)
This is the most straightforward way to use the setworks — perfect when you start with a fresh log or just want to saw straight through it without rotating. It’s simple, efficient, and gives you smooth, uniform boards with almost no effort.
Position for the First Cut Move the sawhead to the starting height for your first cut and press “Remember height” to remember it.
Make the Cut Perform your first cut and remove the slab.
Lift the Sawing head Use the Bump-Up (or the UP pushbutton) button to raise the sawhead above the cut and get ready for the next board.
Type the Board Thickness Type in your desired board thickness using the keypad (S1–S4 or 1-9).The system automatically adds the kerf thickness, so you don’t have to calculate anything.
Press Enter The sawhead moves to the exact position for your next cut — automatically.
Confirm and Cut When the indicator light blinks, the sawhead is ready. Just cut, and repeat.
That’s it. No math, no measuring, no second-guessing — just consistent results, board after board.

2. Cutting After Rotating the Log (Cut List Mode)
Once you rotate the log 180°, you can switch to Cut List Mode — the smarter way to plan your cuts in advance. This mode lets you prepare an entire cutting pattern so you always finish with the right final board thickness on the table.
Here, you simply enter your board thicknesses starting from the sawtable upward, just like on a calculator, using the “+” and “×” keys. For example:
4 + 1 3/4 ×2 + 1×3 + 3/4
The setworks instantly calculates the total height, adds the kerf automatically, and shows you how many boards can fit within your log height.
Position for the Initial Cut Adjust the sawblade for your first cut to maximize yield (and minimize the slab).
Enter the Cut Pattern (Board List) Input your desired thicknesses — the SW-350-PRO handles all the math.
Verify the Cut List Review the total thickness (displayed in green). If no additional board fits, move on to cutting.
Start Cutting Press Enter, and the sawhead moves to the first position automatically.
Confirm and Execute The blinking indicator means you’re ready to cut. Perform the cut and continue through your list.
With this mode, you can process the entire log in one smooth sequence — efficiently, precisely, and with zero guesswork.

Why Sawyers Love It
Every sawmill operator knows how easily a few millimeters of error can add up to wasted wood — and wasted profit. That’s why having a computer setworks like the SW-350-PRO is a game-changer. It helps you work faster, waste less, and get the most value from every log you cut.
The SW-350-PRO Computer Setworks:
Automatically includes kerf thickness
Positions the sawing head to the millimeter
Saves and repeats your cut positions precisely
Helps you end every log with the correct final board thickness
Boosts yield and makes sawing smoother, simpler, and more enjoyable
Whether you’re cutting board by board from the top or using cut lists after rotating the log, Mikron Computer Setworks turns precise cutting into something simple, smart, and satisfying — with results you can see on every board.
